The Family owned Sahara Restaurant was born from the idea that there was a need for a modern Turkish Mediterranean restaurant for Sydney siders. This dream became reality in 1999 creating a sleek chic look with a cosy warm feel, custom timber features and a rich charcoal aroma filling the dining room.

Located in the bustling Argyle St,  food precinct of Parramatta City with various areas available for groups and parties. The concept was designed to produce a fun, friendly and memorable dining experience, whether it were a night out or a quickmeal heading off to the movies or city.

Sahara captures the exotic flavors of the Mediterranean seaside region from Morocco in the West, through to Turkey. Sahara offers Open Kitchen Char-grilled meats (Think food theatre), gourmet pides, seafood, veal and chicken as well as its flavorful authentic specialties.

Hosting a modern warm modern atmosphere for dining with friends or meetings with colleagues. Sahara’s service is focused on sharing the continuous delivery of food, exploring different flavors to compliment each dish.

The family believe the key to their success is the fact all fresh produce and quality local/imported spices are prepared and made on-premise eachday. Everything from the deliciously soft pide breads to their special marinated shish grilled meats which is evident from its reputation.
